FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Warranty - All furniture sold by Furniture Factory Direct Inc. is backed by a 1 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty against manufacturing defects. Certain manufacturers may have longer term warranties. Furniture Factory Direct Inc. does not guarantee the durability, color fastness, fade resistance or shrinkage of fabrics, vinyl’s or leather products. We make no warranty of merchantability. There are no warranties beyond those given by the manufacturer. Furniture Factory Direct will assist the customer in processing warranty claims with the manufacturer.
Assembly – Some items require assembly. We strongly recommend choosing in home delivery and set-up as a shipping method so the assembly is provided by the Delivery Service. All furniture picked up by the customer will be given in original packaging, and assembly must be made by customer. Please read carefully all instructions before starting assembly. Do not discard packaging before finding all hardware. If you discover that hardware is missing, or there is a defect, please contact our Customer Service department for assistance. In the case of defects, items picked up from one of our locations must be returned by the customer. At our discretion, the defective item will be repaired or replaced.
Specifications - All dimensions listed for products are approximate and are reported on the website to the best of our knowledge. We do not guarantee color matching. All furniture is made individually and subject to variance in wood grain, dye lot and other variables in the process that cannot be prevented. If you have a specific question about any product, please contact us.
Errors – Pricing, specifications, availability and terms of offers may change without notice. We cannot be responsible for pricing or other errors, and reserve the right to cancel orders arising from such errors.
Shipping – We use our own trucks. This way we can make sure your furniture will arrive undamaged. It will be brought inside your home, placed where you would like it and all debris will be removed. We ask that our customers measure all rooms, doorways, hallways and elevators to ensure fit. We cannot guarantee an inside delivery with situations involving stairs. Tax - We do not collect or report sales tax on any order shipped outside of Washington State. Furniture Factory Direct will collect the appropriate tax on all orders delivered in Washington State. This will be added to your final total.
Timeframe - All lead times are approximate and subject to change at any time. We promise to do the best we can to get your product to you within the specified timeframe. In most cases, stock orders will be delivered within 1 week. Out of stock orders are estimated at 2-6 weeks. FFD is not responsible for vendors not being in stock or longer lead time due to the manufacturer delays.
Next Day Delivery – Next day delivery is available on in-stock merchandise only. Delivery is limited to addresses within a 10 mile radius of our physical locations: Everett, Bellevue, Tukwila, Kent, Lakewood and Lacey. All next day delivery orders placed through our retail stores must be completed before 8pm Mon-Sun. Online orders for next day delivery of in-stock items must be placed and paid for by 6pm Mon-Fri. Next day delivery is limited by our capacity, and is therefore not guaranteed. Your salesperson will determine availability prior to sale. Non-stocked items will be charged a separate delivery fee, and routed on our normal delivery schedule of Wed-Sun.
Delivery Procedure – Local delivery will be delivered in the home, set up and debris removed. Some products will require minor assembly. Our delivery teams do not remove the customers unwanted furniture, and are not responsible for moving or rearranging existing furniture inside the customers home. Prior to their arrival, please make sure that you have moved or removed any existing furniture that may impact the delivery teams ability to deliver your new furniture. All merchandise has been carefully checked prior to delivery. Please take the time to personally and thoroughly inspect the merchandise while the delivery persons are present. If there should be any problems, do not sign any forms before contacting Customer Service where we will assist you.
Your signature is the acknowledging that the furniture has arrived undamaged and to your satisfaction.
Methods - Visa, MasterCard and American Express are all acceptable forms of payment. Merchandise must be delivered to the cardholders billing address on the account. Refunds will be in the form of a store credit or credited back to the original credit card. No cash refunds will be given at any time. Please contact us if you have any questions about this policy.
Return Policy – All sales are final. We do not sell furniture on approval. As comfort is subjective, we cannot guarantee comfort.
